History
Studio 848 Inc. is a privately held company that was incorporated in March 1997. The company was founded by Bud Farnham and Jo Ellen Farnham. Bud Farnham is a degreed engineer who has been developing software and computer systems since 1979. Jo Ellen Farnham is an attorney who has been practicing law since 1980.
Studio 848 Inc. focuses on two areas: 1) Bill Power, and 2) software and web site development services.
Bill Power software development began in 1994, with the intent of creating an easy to use time and billing program that worked with the leading office applications. The program was initially developed for use by the founders of the company. Bill Power was offered for sale in 1997, which coincided with the introduction of Microsoft Outlook.
Bill Power is the first time and billing program in the world that works directly with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Studio 848 Inc. is committed to keeping Bill Power easy to use, and way ahead of the competition.

Studio 848 Inc. offers contract software and web site development services. Bud Farnham manages all development activities. Languages include C/C++, Visual Basic, and Java. Operating systems include DOS, Windows, and Unix. Applications range from client/server to embedded systems. Web site development services offer Microsoft Front Page and Jasc Paint Shop Pro to build attractive, responsive web sites.
